    * Day - 1
    * - Ho Chi Minh

    Ho Chi Minh Arrive in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, where your Green Papaya tour guide will accompany you from the airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure, welcome dinner will be at local restaurant.

    * Day - 2
    * - Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel

    Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel Morning city tour to the most important attraction of the city includes the former Presidential palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city's bustling Chinatown. In the afternoon visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

    * Day - 3
    * - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Can Tho

    Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Can Tho In the morning, you'll leave Ho Chi Minh City for the Mekong Delta town of Cai Be, where you will board a boat to see the floating market, each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it is pumpkins, pineapples, sugar canes. Along the way, you also visit the many fascinating local cottages industries including rice paper makers, sweet factory, bonsai nurseries. A huge lunch followed with many seasonal fruits at an orchard is some enjoyment of the trip. You then weave our way through the intricate network of canals which are the lifeblood of the Mekong Delta before you meet up with your vehicle for drive to Can Tho, the 'capital' of the Mekong.

    * Day - 4
    * - Can Tho - Chau Doc

    Can Tho - Chau Doc Early morning board for a 3-hour cruise to Cai Rang and Phong Dien, 2 big floating markets with stops at a Bun Tau noodle factory and a short trek before arriving at a rice-husking mill. You can even try passing one of the many fragile "monkey bridges" along the canals photo shot. At the floating markets, you will discover a typical way of displaying and advertising farm products of local people gathering on the Mekong river to trade their goods. Check out the hotel and transfer to Chau Doc, situated on the Cambodian border. Drive to and climb up Sam Mountain to watch the sun set over the Cambodian border. Overnight in Chau Doc.

    * Day - 5
    * - Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh

    Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh Take a morning boat trip to visit fish farms where fish are bred in wooden cages suspended under floating houses on the river. Continue by boat to visit a village of stilt houses belonging to the Cham minority where colourful traditional textiles are woven on old wooden looms. Check out the hotel, visit Thoai Ngoc Hau temple before transferring back to HCMC. Your lunch will be served en route.

    * Day - 6
    * - Ho Chi Minh City - Dalat

    Ho Chi Minh City - Dalat After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dalat. An afternoon of sightseeing in Dalat takes in the art deco former summer residence of Emperor Bao Dai, the old Dalat Railway Station, Xuan Huong Lake, the Central Market and Lam Ty Ni Pagoda where a Buddhist monk, Vien Thuc, produces abstract paintings and writes poetry.

    * Day - 7
    * - Dalat - Buon Ma Thuot

    Dalat - Buon Ma Thuot Drive northwards to Lak Lake, near Ban Ma Thuot. Arrive around noon and in the afternoon take a 45 minutes elephant ride through M'Lieng Jarai village and along the shore of Lak Lake. Take a pirogue (a canoe made from a hollowed out tree trunk) on the lake before retiring to Jun village for dinner. After dinner, join in the traditional dancing and gong playing of the Jarai minority and try the potent local rice wine. Overnight in a basic but clean communal long-house at the village or hotel in Buon Ma Thuot.

    * Day - 8
    * - Buon Ma Thuot - Nha Trang

    Buon Ma Thuot - Nha Trang Morning's drive down to the coastal plain and the beach city of Nha Trang. After Phan Rang, drive through vivid green rice fields and salt ponds to Nha Trang, where an afternoon tour of the city includes the Po Nagar Cham Towers and Long Son Pagoda with its enormous white Buddha statue. Overnight in Nha Trang.

    * Day - 9
    * - Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh

    Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh Leaving for Ho Chi Minh City after breakfast, the road follows the coast southwards past salt ponds and vivid green rice fields. Break the journey at Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

    * Day - 10
    * - Ho Chi Minh

    Ho Chi Minh Free at leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport to take departure flight onward.
