    Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival (D)

    Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport a ASIA TRAVEL LINK guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for exploration. OVERNIGHT IN HANOI.



    Day 2 : Hanoi City tour ( B,L)

    Today we enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex. This famous site contains the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh ( Close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pilar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with the Temple of Literature “the first university in Vietnam”, founded in 1076, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest of the country and the Quan Thanh Temple, founded between 1010 – 1225 are on the program In the afternoon, we visit the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Monday), featuring a wonderful collection of art and objects from throughout the country and different tribes. Then, we make a cyclo tour (1h) through Hanoi’s Old Quarter and visit of Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem lake. In the evening you can enjoy a performance of the traditional Water Puppet show.     Day 3 : Hanoi – Ha Long ( B,L,D)

    Leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board your traditional junk boat. Have lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit ‘Sung Sot’, one of the most imposing grotto of the Bay. After sunset, enjoy dinner before retiring to your cabin for a good nights sleep. OVERNIGHT ON BOARD.


    Day 4 : Ha Long – Ninh Binh ( B, Brunch)

    Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for an early morning dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to move around the bay to find more secluded areas. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a back up vessel for those that require it. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for the journey to Ninh Binh via Thai Binh and Nam Dinh. OVERNIGHT IN NINH BINH.

    Day 5 : Ninh Binh Cycling – Ha Noi – Hue ( B, L)

    Morning we start cycling to Hoa Lu by our bicycles to visit the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu, the Dinh temple and the Le temple. Then continues with a 1 hour cycle to Tam Coc (12km), just passing scenes of local village life and rice paddies and from Tam Coc to Thung Nang wharf where we will have an hour boat trip to visit Thung Nang. After that, drive back to Hanoi . Transfer direct to Hanoi airport for the flight to the ancient capital of Hue in the evening. Check in at the hotel. OVERNIGHT IN HUE .

    Day 6 : Hue Imperial ( B,L)

    Our tour starts at 08: 00 a.m. Hue was once Vietnam’s feudal capital from 1802 to 1945. This small and quiet city is widely known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs. Upon arrival Hue, we will visit Hue’s famous highlights, including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Afternoon we then take boat cruise on the Perfum River to the surrounding countryside to visit Thiem Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. One of the most poignant displays here is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its treatment of Buddhists. Also worth visiting are the tombs of the former Emperors, in particular that of Emperor Tu Duc. OVERNIGHT IN HUE



    Hoi An
    Day 7 : Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An ( B)

    In the morning we start one of Vietnam’s most spectacular routes, the Mandarin Road, to Hoi An. We pass the Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass), a mountainous highway offering splendid views over the South China Sea. We visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Danang, exposing antique artifacts of the former Cham Kingdom, before arriving to Hoi An. We arrive in Hoi An and visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese’s street, Phung Hung’s house, market and ancient port. Finally, we visit Chuc Thanh’s pagoda – the oldest pagoda of Hoi An (1454), built with Chinese bonze. OVERNIGHT IN HOI AN .

    Day 8 : Hoi An – Da Nang – Sai Gon (B)

    Depart for Da nang Airport after breakfast for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by the locals. Take a city tour, which will include a visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. You will explore the differing Districts of the city, each with their own unique history and character. This afternoon walk through the oldest quarter of the city and visit the Beaux-Arts Museum. OVERNIGHT IN SAI GON

    Day 9 : Ho Chi Minh City – Delta Mekong (B, L, D)

    Depart for the Mekong Delta, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind to travel through Vietnam’s picturesque countryside with its rice paddies and rural villages. Upon arrival in the Delta board, modeled after a traditional sampan, the boats small size allows you to discover the smaller canals and tributaries of this region. You’ll enjoy a gentle cruise from Cai Be to Sa Dec as part of a leisurely exploration of the Mekong River and its hidden treasures before gliding onto Can Tho. OVERNIGHT ON BOARD

    Day 10 : Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City – Departure(B)

    Crossing the Mekong on the way to Cai Be Floating Market, you’ll take in traditional sights such as rice barges, wooden ship building yards and even fruit drying along the Mekong’s banks. After paying a visit to the colorful floating market check-out and disembark before the return to Ho Chi Minh City. Your private car and guide will be at your disposal until your transfer by private car to Ton Son Nhat Airport for departure. End ASIA TRAVEL LINK’s services.
